It’s so easy to snuggle up indoors as the weather gets colder, which is awesome, but we all know the key to keep your metabolism healthy is activity! So break-up the repetition of your daily routine & spice things up! Get up, get outside & get moving!
Getting lost in a corn maze is not only a ton of fun with the family, it’s a good 30-40 minutes of walking! Level-up: make it a race & push your pace to see how quickly you can solve the maze!
Wander through the pumpkin patches in search for the perfect pumpkin & make a game out of it. Who can lift the largest pumpkin? How many squats or lunges can you do holding a squash? Have fun! Challenge your family & friends to small physical challenges & get the whole group moving.
The weather is gorgeous in the fall and depending where you live, the leaves are changing too. Nature is particularly beautiful this time of year. Get out there & go for a hike to appreciate the fresh air & amazing fall colors before it gets too cold & wet!
Instead of watching football, why not play a little? A game of flag-football, play "catch": lawn games are a great way to connect with friends & family, while staying active too! Other lawn games to consider: spikeball, cornhole & kan-jam.
Attend a festival, carnival or fair! Park a distance away from the main event & walk at a brisk, late-to-a-meeting pace, around the entire perimeter. Then go back around & stroll to enjoy shopping, exploring, playing games & taking lots of photos!
